Ingredients
- Thin-sliced beef (sirloin/flank/stir-fry) 1.5 lb
- Broccoli florets — 5–6 cups 30 oz
- Bell pepper, sliced (optional) — 1 unit
- Neutral oil (avocado/canola), divided — 3 tbsp
- Udon noodles — 14–16 oz 3 unit
- Panda Teriyaki Sauce or Japanese BBQ Sauce to taste 1 unit
Steps
- Heat oven to 450°F. Toss broccoli (and pepper, if using) with 1.5 tbsp oil and a pinch of salt. Spread on a sheet pan. Optional: if your broccoli can be steamed, you can steam it.
- Toss beef with remaining 1.5 tbsp oil and a pinch of salt. Spread on the sheet pan (separate area). Another option: pan cook your beef, slightly under cooked as it is thin and can become tough if over-cooked.
- Bake 10–12 minutes, flipping once, until broccoli is browned and beef is cooked through. (Skip this step if you chose the optional routes in the previous steps)
- Combine beef and broccoli and add sauce to taste.
- Warm udon per package directions and toss with beef, broccoli, and sauce.
